My Students

I currently teach three separate resource level classes for both English Language Arts and Math. They are a variety of ability levels, but all are currently significantly below their average grade level peers. Many of my students also have problems with their attention and require differentiated lessons in order to keep their interests.

We have an incredible group of learners in these classes and are so very eager to get the school year started and to try different things things and ways of learning!

My Project

As a special education teacher, I am always trying to find ways to engage my students in learning. One thing I would like to try is presenting my lessons in a variety of locations. In order to do, so we would need a portable projector and screen. Having the ability to take our lessons anywhere on campus would definitely increase my students' engagement in their lessons. Many of my students struggle at times with their attention. Having the ability to change where we present lessons could open up a whole new world of learning for them!

We can't wait to learn all over campus!
