In our College and Career Readiness class, we love to celebrate! We end each unit with either a quiz show styled game or an escape room. These are great ways to make sure students learn the material, but also have fun. The novelty of it helps students to better retain the information that they learn.
In our class, we learn skills like effective communication, perspective taking, organization, team-building, conflict resolution, problem-solving, budgeting, career research, and so much more!
Students often struggle with the transition from elementary school to middle school. Students go from an elementary school environment that often seeks to make learning novel, to an environment that may feel more sterile. It's time to make sure middle school learning feels like fun again!
With your help, we can use these popcorn makers, popcorn kernels, and popcorn bags to make our review sessions more special. Popcorn (popped fresh from kernels) is also a healthy and filling snack that will help middle schoolers to feel full throughout their day. The additional snack will support their growing bodies.
