My Students

Our school is located in a beautiful coastal community. The students that attend our school come from various backgrounds, ability levels and experiences. Our school serves children from all backgrounds and languages. We serve a high number of English as a Second Language Students. We are a Title I, high poverty school.

My kindergarten class this year consists of 16 kids.

My Project

Pop It Fidget devices have a multitude of possibilities for uses within a Kindergarten classroom. We would like to use the pop its to support our kiddos in all areas. In reading, we can use the pop its to count the number of sounds within a word and to help tap out our words. The pop its can also be used to make the shapes of letters. We can use the pop its in math to add, create a number and even subtract.

There are many fun uses for the pop its!
