My Project

In an effort to shift away from computer-based reading, I'm attempting to build a poetry library in my classroom. I've done a single round earlier this year for various books of poetry and it's been such a success I'm looking to grow the library even more!

Students have regularly been checking out various books from me and expressing gratitude towards what they've been able to read and access in a given class period.

My goals include building my students ability to critically analyze and discuss poetry alongside our class discussions.

I teach everything from regularly 9th grade language arts courses to senior level AP literature--all of which benefit greatly from regularly perusing a robust classroom library.

Mr. Neenan will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by August 8.
