This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students try their best everyday in school. However, most are very behind on their reading.

Covid-19 has made it really hard on students for the last couple of years.

Many are really struggling now, and trying to catch up on their learning.

Reading is a very important skill that students need to be able to do in life. So, it is very important to get these kids caught up to where they need to be for third grade. Having engaging books (both poetry and scary stories) will really help them want to read.
