Having successfully acquired 10 Pocketalk translation devices through a grant to support our newcomer high school students. They are especially important in navigating the complexities of science vocabulary, I am now reaching out for additional support.
Pocketalks represent a significant step towards breaking down language barriers in education, but to ensure their longevity and usability, we're in need of protective cases and screen protectors.
These accessories will safeguard the devices against daily wear and tear, ensuring that they remain in excellent condition for our students to use year after year.
In addition to physical protection, maintaining the hygiene of these devices is paramount, especially in a school environment. Therefore, we are also seeking donations of Clorox wipes or similar sanitizing products. This small but critical step will help us to not only protect the health of our students but also preserve the integrity of these valuable learning tools.
