This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a music educator, often times, district professional development doesn't apply to me. Being a part of PMEA - Pennsylvania Music Educators Association would enable me to access choral specific professional development, that's actually useful! I could find lessons and receive materials on General Music, choral and other musical classes.

Being a member of PMEA also allows me to collaborate with other music teachers online.

I would be able to work virtually with teachers on opportunities for students as well as learn new techniques that can be passes on to my classes.
