Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This diverse group of students meets once a week in the library and needs supplies to support their mission of inclusivity and make their club a success.
The group is working hard to increase its visibility and attract new members.
The students meet together in the library to provide mutual support for one another, something that they may not find in other groups. Having a group like ours helps support students' mental well-being and their feeling of belonging in the high school community. A donation of snacks and drinks would allow student to create a welcoming environment for their meetings.
