My Project

Our school is an amazing school to work at. I teach students from all over the world. We have students from over 40 countries. Unfortunately, because of Covid and the time away from the classroom, all of my glazes are dried up. I tried to add water to the glaze to make it work, but it did not and the glazes do not work properly in the kiln. I do not have a big enough budget to replace them. Now, I am trying to replace them one at a time. This year is fantastic because I currently teach 2 ceramic courses, but with over 60 students in ceramics, we go through a lot of clay and glaze.

I also teach 4 classes of foundations of art.

In this class, I teach about the elements of design, drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. So far this year in foundations of art, I have taught my students drawing fundamentals and color theory. I have found that students feel more proud of their work if they get to paint on canvas. I'm asking you to please consider funding my project.
