They are now using these new supplies on their wood sculpture projects. My Art Club students were so excited when they walked into art club today. They used the paints to create some really fun projects. Also, next quarter, my Foundations of Art Students will use the paints to help them learn about color theory. I am so excited to see the amazing projects they will be able to do. \r\n\r\nI'm attaching some photos of my students working on their projects. There are pictures of art club students work and pictures wooden Identity sculptures from ceramics class. Students created the project from wood scraps cut in our woodshop. Then, they glued the sculpture together. Last, they are using the paint you gave us to paint different aspects of their identity. My students are from all over the world, so this is a great introduction project where they can showcase who they are and proudly present the country/countries where they have lived. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping support my students!!!! Your support has provided our student-athletes with the tools they need to build that foundation with dignity, organization, and a profound sense of school pride.\r\n\r\nIn the sport of wrestling, discipline is the ultimate currency. Our athletes are required to manage an incredible amount of personal responsibility, from maintaining their weight and academic eligibility to keeping track of specialized gear like headgear, mouth guards, and wrestling shoes. Previously, many of our students relied on plastic grocery bags or makeshift solutions to transport their equipment. This led to unnecessary stress, misplaced gear, and a fragmented team appearance. Thanks to your kindness, every member of our team now has a high-quality, durable drawstring bag that keeps their essentials organized and ready for action.\r\n\r\nThe impact of this gift was never more apparent than during our most recent Senior Night. As our graduating wrestlers stood on the mat for the final time, they did so as a unified front. One of our team captains noted that arriving at the gym with matching, professional gear made the squad feel \"untouchable.\" That psychological edge is real. When a student feels that their community has invested in them, they carry themselves differently. They walk into a rival gymnasium with their heads held high, knowing they represent something larger than themselves. This renewed sense of professional identity led to a series of decisive pins and a major team victory that night, but more importantly, it fostered a legacy of excellence that our younger wrestlers are now eager to uphold.\r\n\r\nThese bags have replaced pre-match clutter with championship-level focus. By removing the small, daily stresses of logistics, you have allowed our athletes to dedicate their mental energy to strategy and sportsmanship. You have shown them that their hard work—the grueling practices and the early morning conditioning—is recognized and valued. Thank you for being an essential part of our journey and for making a tangible difference in the lives of these young men and women.","fullyFundedDate":1764707649679,"projectUrl":"project/drawstring-bags-for-our-wrestling-team/9846335/","projectTitle":"Drawstring Bags for Our Wrestling Team","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Holmes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10163314"},{"teacherId":10163314,"projectId":9560647,"letterContent":"On behalf of the East High School wrestling team, I want to extend our sincerest gratitude for your generous contribution toward our Healthy Snack Fund this season.\r\n\r\nWrestling is as much a test of mental discipline as it is physical endurance. Because of your support, our athletes didn't have to worry about where their next hit of clean energy was coming from between matches. Your donations allowed us to provide high-quality proteins, complex carbs, and hydration that kept our wrestlers fueled during grueling all-day Saturday tournaments and intense mid-week duals.\r\n\r\nThe Impact of Your Support\r\nWhile we didn't have any wrestlers qualify for the State tournament this year, the scoreboard only tells part of the story. Because our athletes were properly fueled, we saw:\r\n\r\nIncreased Stamina: Fewer \"gas outs\" in the third period.\r\n\r\nFaster Recovery: Athletes bounced back more quickly between matches.\r\n\r\nImproved Focus: Better nutrition led to sharper technique and fewer injuries.\r\n\r\nMore importantly, your donation helped foster a culture of health and professional preparation within the program. You showed these young men and women that their community is invested in their well-being, both on and off the mat.\r\n\r\nWe are already looking forward to next year, carrying the lessons (and the strength) gained this season into our off-season training.
