This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My project is to create a student art gallery in our school. Using cork boards to display their artwork is not just about decorating the walls; it plays a significant role in nurturing creativity, boosting self-esteem, celebrating diversity, and creating a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment. When students see their artwork on display, it boosts their self-esteem and confidence. It reinforces the idea that the school is a place for self-expression and personal growth.
I always tell my students, this world is full of billions of people and there is no one exactly like you; your art is a way to share your individuality, while learning about others through their art .
My goal is to use this art gallery to celebrate our uniqueness and strengthen our connections with our community through art. This gallery has the power to transform the school environment. I'm excited at the possibility of creating an incredibly positive and enriching learning atmosphere!
