This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Many of my 3-year-old students require specialized attention due to their unique needs. They possess a gentle, affectionate nature and demonstrate a keen enthusiasm for learning each day.

I purchase from the Goodwill used educational toys.

Since these toys are so old, I would love to have new ones for my little humans.

At this tender age, my students engage in activities centered around learning to play with toys that is essential for learning such as: functional play, fine motor skills, Physical dexterity. Toys that help build strength, confidence, and balance.

It teaches them creativity, problem-solving, language development, and social skills.

I plan to use these toys during seat work as well as centers. During seat work, the teacher sits with the student and models how to play with the toy. Once she models, student and teacher will practice together. lastely, the student will learn to play appropriately with the toy.
