My Project
Hi everyone! Thanks for reading and considering a donation. Whether you decide to donate to us, or any other educator, know it is appreciated more than you know! I am a 7th grade special education teacher in Lowell, MA. Our population involves a wide range of students from different ethnic backgrounds, who speak many languages and come from a variety of economic backgrounds and situations.
I strive to make school a welcoming, comfortable and enjoyable environment for every student.
This is especially important because we truly do not know if students are going home every day to be caretakers for siblings or other family members, have consistent access to balanced meals, or are being reminded how important and loved they are. Although our main priority at school is to teach academic content, if all a student takes away from me is that I cared and provided them with a safe and caring environment, that's more than enough.
I regularly provide students with snacks, feminine products, hygiene materials, toys and games, and so much more. Please know that your donation is allowing me to continue to give my students access to these things, as well as go above and beyond to support them in any way that I can.
