My Project

I teach kindergarten, which means many of my students are participating in their first year of learning at school. We are a full-day program, which can be a long time for little tummies.

This project is for snacks to help keep my students full and focused!

It is very hard for kindergartners to focus when they are hungry. My students receive free breakfast and lunch, but sometimes picky appetites and late arrivals prevent them from being full.

Some of my students are food insecure, meaning food at home is not always a guarantee. We keep a collection of snacks in the classroom, but sometimes we run out. This project would allow my students to always have access to snacks, such as chips and cookies.
