Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I know it is early to think about this, but it's important for my students and parents to know what to expect. Skills can slowly decline if they don't practice reading, writing, and math on a daily basis. I would like each of my students to have resources to be able to practice these skills during breaks and over the summer. Summer Bridge Activities, a workbook, prepares students in all subjects for what they should expect for the upcoming school year. The third grade is a difficult grade since it is a testing grade. If students don't pass the standardized test then they are held back for a year. I want my students to be prepared for the next year. This book gives them fun but educational activities to do during the year and during the summer. Please give my students a headstart for the next grade. The book is: Summer Bridge Activities: 2nd Grade to 3rd Grade by Julia Hobbs, Carla Fisher, Michele Vanleeuwan. My kids and their parents would really appreciate this donation. Thank you.
