This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Integrating STEM toys into the classroom serves multiple educational goals, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Firstly, these toys promote hands-on exploration, encouraging students to actively experiment and problem-solve. By engaging with STEM toys, students develop critical thinking skills and gain a deeper understanding of fundamental concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Secondly, STEM toys cultivate creativity and innovation as students are encouraged to design, build, and iterate on their creations. This process not only sparks curiosity but also nurtures resilience and perseverance in tackling challenges. Thirdly, STEM toys facilitate collaborative learning experiences, promoting teamwork and communication skills essential for success in today's collaborative work environments. Lastly, these toys help bridge the gap between abstract concepts and real-world applications, empowering students to see the relevance and practicality of STEM subjects in their everyday lives. By incorporating STEM toys into the classroom, educators can effectively inspire and prepare the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
