For example, during the penny game, students practiced counting, addition, and place value while working in small groups. The jump ropes were used to reinforce skip counting and number patterns through active learning. The water bottles are used throughout the day to support healthy routines and keep students focused and ready to learn.\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, their reaction was immediate excitement. They were eager to explore everything and asked when they would get to use each item. The jump ropes especially brought a lot of energy into the room, and the penny game quickly became a favorite because it felt like \"playing while learning.\" Students were highly engaged and motivated to participate in each activity.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to deepen the learning by connecting these tools to our current math and science lessons. Students will use the penny game to solve word problems with greater independence, and we will incorporate jump rope routines into daily fluency practice for addition and subtraction facts. We will also continue reinforcing responsibility by having students manage and care for the materials as part of building ownership in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your generous donation.","fullyFundedDate":1758636824770,"projectUrl":"project/hydration-and-health/9592674/","projectTitle":"Hydration and Health","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Berrones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8578135_orig.jpg?crop=1500,1500,x0,y480&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1683344326528","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-berrones"},{"teacherId":8575786,"projectId":9716103,"letterContent":"On behalf of my class, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for the generous donation of our new smart board.
