My students need reliable open shelving to store their interactive learning materials and flexible and comfy floor seating to create a primary learning space for our younger students.
My special education classroom is comprised of 12 students, spanning the K-5th grade, who spend varying amounts of time in the special education classroom for their academic instruction. We are always looking for innovative ways to combine cooperative play with our academics.
Playing to teach positive social interactions and academics is a win-win.
Turn-taking, increasing speech and vocabulary skills, and reaching goals are addressed daily. The students love trying new things and are excited to share their learning with all. Help us learn together!
My Project
My students need creative learning activities such as LET'S GO FISHING GAME, GAME BIG BOX OF ALPHABET KNOWLEDGE Number and Shape Bingo, MATCH AND ROLL SHAPE SORTER, and to increase cooperative play while embedding fine and gross motor skills into the school day.
Playing to Learn gives students multiple opportunities to incorporate social and physical learning skills into their day.
Development of social, academic, and physical strength increases flexibility in learning. Weekly sessions with therapists introduce skills and being able to embed these skills into our learning daily will help progress towards learning goals.
Help us make learning fun for our students who are excited to learn, by increasing our supply of interactive learning games.
