These items will help in the aid of learning about the ecosystem of the birds in our school yard. These binoculars and bird guides will help students study in teams the environment for the birds and conduct science experiments.
The resources will be needed for the goal of the project through STEM Experiments and identifying different types of birds on the playground.
Research will be conducted by the students to determine the needs and ability to survive in different environments compared to our school playground. The research will lead to learning about what students can create for these types of birds on the playground. Then data will be taken to determine if this experiments are working.
What makes my students special is their ability to learn. They are Gifted and Talented Students that need higher level thinking skills. It is my desire for them to learn from these activities so they can make a difference in the future and develop an understanding of how to implement ideas with research and design.
