My classroom consists of third graders that are eager to learn and share with others. Our school, located in a rural area, has a student body of 800. Our community is full of many parents stretched to make ends meet. We do our best to use our resources to meet our goals. We are not a Title I school with extra funding. Our students need opportunities to learn using different mediums and technological platforms. Our computer lab has the old recycled high school computers with slow processors. These are over fifteen years old. Our classroom only has access to these computers once a week for thirty minutes. We lack in funding for technology. These two computers will allow our students to increase scores and ultimately lead to college and career readiness.
