Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have learned that Kindergarten students learn best through hands-on, play-based experiences. My project will provide a shopping cart filled with Tonies audio stories, a check out center to completed our dramatic play area, and LEGOs to support early literacy, social skills, and problem-solving. Tonies help children build listening comprehension and vocabulary in a fun, screen-free way. Pretend play encourages imagination, communication, and cooperation. LEGO building strengthens fine motor skills and early STEM thinking. These materials will be used during centers, small groups, and free-choice time to help students learn, grow, and succeed as confident, curious kindergarten learners daily.
