My Project

COVID affected all students, and as a counselor I see the impact that it has had on our students. My students are filled with love, but due to the forced isolation due to COVID, a lot of my students had to deal with it alone. Returning to learn has been difficult for some as they need to rebuild their stamina for learning and the social skills to work cooperatively.

The supplies that I am requesting will not only help the students that I service directly as a counselor, but all of the students.

I also help to supervise recess, therefore, I am also looking for activities that will help my students to socialize. Not all students enjoy running around, some students enjoy the peacefulness of drawing, which helps them to cope with their trauma. Hopefully, these supplies will help me to allow all students an avenue to cope with the trauma that they experienced during COVID.
