Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We would like our students to be able to experience hands-on learning with old-fashioned Play-Doh in every content area.

For reading, they will be using it to build letters and ‘connect’ sounds to words.

In math, they will use it to solve addition and subtraction word problems. The possibilities are endless in science and social studies. For example, the students will love making their own life-like insects and creating their own Play-Doh food for a special dramatic play store!
