Play-Doh Center For Kindergarten!

My students need Hasbro Play-Doh, dough stampers, trays and an area rug for clay molding fun!

My Students

Do you remember the joy of playing with Play-Doh as a child?

I am a kindergarten/ first grade teacher in a low economic community.

We may not have much financially, but we are rich in academics! We work hard daily to meet both our educational and personal goals. We are grateful for the supplies we have, but will greatly benefit from more enrichment materials to further our learning and help meet our academic goals.

My Project

We are planning on creating a fun, Play-Doh station in our kindergarten/ first grade classroom. We will use the Play-doh to sculpt out creative figures, and use the dough stampers to practice letter recognition and phonics skills. The stampers also help with math skills as well. The trays will be used to keep our Play-Doh fresh and clean and the rug will be used as a barrier to protect our classroom floors. The bookshelves are light and mobile and will be used to house books that students can use as a reference to stamp out letters with their dough.

Play-Doh is both a fun an educational product that I know will motivate my eager learners.

I want to encourage my students to have fun while learning, and nothing goes better than education AND fun than Play-Doh!
