My Project

I am a speech therapist who serves preschoolers with developmental delays and disabilities. All of the students in this program have speech and language delays, and most families report that communication skills are their top developmental concern.

Preschoolers learn best through child-led, play-based therapy.

The toys and games in this project will support their speech and language skills by offering opportunities to practice vocabulary, grammar, and speech sound production within the context of a fun and playful activity. Keeping therapy materials and activities fresh and new helps my students learn quicker and make faster progress towards their goals!
