My Project

I seek to help my students become excited and enriched to learn by integrating play-based learning experiences in our kindergarten classroom, as well as teaching them about important historical figures in developmentally appropriate texts. We will be using materials to have flexible seating learning experiences around the classroom that allow the students to be more engaged. Additionally, my class has been enjoying a "play-based learning" portion of our day that previously did not have many learning materials to support their inquiry. By completing this project my students will have hands-on, exciting, and fulfilling learning experiences that will sustain their academic and emotional growth.
