This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We love having plants in our classroom. The plants we have are getting bigger so they need new pots and soil. We also need small pots for all the baby plants.

Indoor plants have been linked to improved concentration and memory as well as a reduction in stress.

Research has also linked indoor plants with increased productivity and reduced mental fatigue, all of which can be beneficial in the classroom environment.

All studies aside, the children just love looking at and caring for the plants. They make our space look and feel nice.
