Help me give my students a fabulous, engaging library full of grade-level books and a balance ball seat.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are the hardest working, most energetic, loving children. They are living through adversity and thriving. Our Academy is a Title I school located in the Cole neighborhood with 98% of students eligible to receive free or reduced lunch. Our student population is made up of black and Latino students, with 50% of students being English Learners.
Some students have the most amazing growth academically, while others show their amazing strength in overcoming difficulties in social-emotional growth.
No matter what, these students all deserve to have the resources they need to help them do their best.
A new library that his grade level will help build my students' love of reading, as well as grow their literacy skills in so many ways. I want them to solidify the reading skills which they’ve worked so hard to develop, while truly enjoying good literature. The books in the library we have now are not on their level; they are mostly second grade. They need a new third-grade library to push them over the reading success finish line. Even just one good book in this collection could be a game changer for a kid who’s on the fence about reading.
