Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach Pre-K at a Title I school and almost all of my students come from low-income families. We are soon entering our 'Water' learning unit and would love to give them the opportunity to learn about water by planting and learning how water is important for plants and other living things. I can read them a book and show them videos, but nothing is better than hands-on experience! My students are eager and curious learners who love to get their hands dirty and explore. This would be a great learning experience for them.
