Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have many fun and exciting opportunities ahead of them with our school’s new outdoor laboratory that focuses on regenerative agriculture! One of the future opportunities for the students is learning the skill of plant grafting.

The students will need laboratory scalpels to make clean cuts in the host stock and the new donor plant.

Spray bottles will be used to clean and sterilize all outdoor laboratory cutting instruments as well as well as for providing extra humidity and moisture when necessary. The soil meters will help the students to more accurately plan and adjust for specific plant types based on the pH, light, and moisture levels of the soil.
