Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students usually write their homework, notes for home, etc. on a sheet of paper every day. Having student planners will help them stay organized, responsible, and accountable throughout the year. Additionally, students will not be wasting paper on a daily basis by writing their notes down. Instead, they will use this planner the entire year--both saving paper and being responsible! We will discuss this matter and can show them a stack of paper used in one year by 100 students and then compare it to a planner. Students will visually see the difference of paper used and wasted an entire year.

My students need a planner to help them stay focused, and it will also help save the environment by using less paper!

Having these planners will help 100 third graders stay focused, responsible, and accountable, all while saving the planet! They will learn a valuable lesson on organization AND on helping save Mother Earth.
