Pineapple Classroom Decor!

My students need a FUN and EXCITING environment in their classroom! Having a theme allows the students to stay active in the classroom and enjoy each day with consistency!

My Students

My students are very active and really like to be moving, and sometimes just can't sit still, but are still listening. They are giving the opportunity to sit in different styles of chairs to mix it up and to allow them some different ways to be comfortable and move around in the room. I have 4 students in my classroom that like to stand instead of sit all day, which is fine with me! We are busy in 2nd grade! I want to give my students a fun and positive environment. From decorations, to activities to work spaces. I am always trying new things.

My Project

Choosing a fun classroom theme will make the students excited to come to class everyday! Having a theme makes it more exciting and allows for us to do a lot of things in the classroom! Students will all feel connected, we will have charts that all match & last all year long. Having a theme in the classroom gives the students a chance to feel like a family at school! I chose to have decorative pillows for the many flexible seating options in the classroom. A new fun and bright calendar center to go along with our theme and morning meetings. I've also included fun name tags for the students to get them into the theme and spirit of a FUN pineapple classroom.
