The durability and thoughtful organization of the materials provided in these carts ensure that they can be used repeatedly, allowing future generations of students to benefit from them. These carts are not only a resource for hands-on learning, but also serve as a foundation for developing critical thinking skills. Students are given the opportunity to engage in tasks that require problem-solving, teamwork, engineering, and deductive reasoning. Through these highly engaging activities, students are encouraged to approach challenges creatively and collaboratively, which not only strengthens their academic skills but also prepares them for real-world scenarios. The STEAM carts foster an environment of innovation and discovery, where students can experiment, iterate, and learn from both successes and failures. As a result, the educational value and long-term impact of these carts extend well beyond individual lessons, promoting skills that will serve students throughout their lives and careers.","fullyFundedDate":1742919690185,"projectUrl":"project/stem-in-motion-building-creating-and/9208122/","projectTitle":"STEM in Motion: Building, Creating, and Innovating!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Phillips","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3662731_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1467723577995","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsphillipsfor4"},{"teacherId":3662731,"projectId":9613442,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our after-school Number Ninjas club has been thriving! Students have been using the new resources to practice and master their multiplication facts. They use the whiteboards, pencils, and paper during team games and practice problems, and they earn ninja headbands and prizes as they reach their goals. The materials are neatly organized on the new cart, making it easy for us to maximize our 50-minute weekly sessions and keep students fully engaged. Watching them work together and celebrate their progress has been a highlight of our club.\r\n\r\nThe students' reactions when they first saw the materials were priceless! Earning their first ninja headband brought a wave of pride and excitement, and they loved wearing it to show off their achievement. The anticipation of picking a special ninja-themed prize at various points in the meeting keeps them motivated and eager for the next session. Even outside of our weekly meetings, students stop to share their excitement and chat about what they hope to achieve next. Your donation has made these joyful, memorable moments possible.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we have exciting opportunities planned for our Number Ninjas. In the coming weeks, we will travel to another school for our first Number Ninjas competition, giving students the chance to showcase what they've learned so far this year. Our goal is to attend at least two more competitions so that all 46 students in our club have the opportunity to participate. Your support is helping our students grow in confidence, celebrate their achievements, and continue to build their math skills in fun and meaningful ways.","fullyFundedDate":1755720592052,"projectUrl":"project/number-ninjas/9613442/","projectTitle":"Number Ninjas","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Phillips","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3662731_272x272.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1467723577995","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrsphillipsfor4"},{"teacherId":3662731,"projectId":9106379,"letterContent":"It has truly been an out of this world start to our school year. Because of you, we now have high-interest titles that are perfectly matched to their passions and are age-appropriate, including Wings of Fire, Babysitters Club, Last Kids on Earth, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Who Would Win, I Survived, and Dork Diaries. \r\nWhen all the boxes arrived, I unpacked them in secret and displayed all the materials for the kids to see the next morning. The students also loved the flexible seating options and I have been able to incorporate those into independent reading time as well as my SEL classes.\r\nThank you again your amazing generosity and gifting the joy of reading to my students.","fullyFundedDate":1740260275176,"projectUrl":"project/4th-5th-grade-resource-library/8899098/","projectTitle":"4th & 5th Grade Resource Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lockett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9813718"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_91769","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":233,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":52,"percentAsian":10,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":61,"percentIndigenous":8,"percentLatinx":14,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"6.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":71.3,"schoolId":91769,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lincoln Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lincoln Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-dakota/aberdeen-school-district-6-1/lincoln-elementary-school/91769"}
