My Project

My younger students need a way to practice problem solving and collaboration in an engaging and fun way. That is why I am requesting a variety of jigsaw puzzles. According to the Baylor College of Medicine, putting a jigsaw puzzle together can improve short term memory, problem solving, collaboration, cognition and spatial reasoning. These skills are necessary to be a life long learner.

A quote attributed to Mr. Fred Rogers sums up why these jigsaw puzzles are needed for my students, "Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning."
