This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Have you ever been one to struggle to get through a chapter book? That is becoming more prevalent among students, now.

Whereas, a chapter book, presents a struggle for some of my students; they are able to read graphic novels with ease.

The graphic novels are broken up in such a way that the students are able to achieve clarity and comprehension with a graphic novel, but struggled to achieve those things with a regular chapter book.

More and more students are gravitating towards the graphic novels because a regular chapter book can be overwhelming with only words.

Graphic novels enable the students to be successful in comprehension of a book and give them clarity of a book that they, otherwise, might not have been able to comprehend.
