Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a class full of young eager learners. A large number is made up of students who speak another language. All of the books that are on my list are fun and classics that I would like to bring into my classroom library.

Using these amazing books in my classroom as read-aloud will bring literature-rich vocabulary, build and promote young readers, and bring in ways to introduce vocabulary and discussions on topics that young Kindergartners still need to learn.

Many of my students don't have books at home for parents to read to them. We know that when children are read at home it helps them with vocabulary, problem-solving, inquisitive thinking, and many more benefits.

I plan on reading these books during a time in my schedule every day to build their love of reading.
