My Project

My students love to be read to. They especially love picture books, which we read every day. By the end of the year we have read 180 books. We love the tried and true books, but are in need of some new titles to be added to our library.

We love to read and talk about stories in first grade.

These books give us a springboard for these conversations. We talk about characters, setting, events and theme every day. Getting some new books that represent all the students in my class would be greatly appreciated.
