This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pickle ball is a growing sport. I teach in a low income tile one school and we have little equipment. I would love to be able to teach these students a growing sport that they can play for a lifetime and stay active and fit through their life.

Pickleball is a lifetime sport, and I plan to use this as a 4 week unit in our PE classes.

We have over 100 students per period and not enough equipment to have tournaments to help create the love of this growing sport.

Living and teaching in Florida having this equipment would increase our students love to staying active after high school.
