My Students

My classes consist of four sixth grade classes. They come to me for social studies and world history. They are a blend of typical kids, gifted students, and special needs students. They come from a variety of economic backgrounds. Some have many advantages in life, but many come from extreme poverty. For some students, school is their safe place, and many only experience history, current events, and geography while at school.

I would love to have your donation so that I can create the best learning situation for all my students.

My Project

In my classroom, students have a variety of seats to choose from that will suit their learning style. From traditional desks and chairs, to yoga ball chairs, to gaming chairs, the students can choose the seating situation that suits them best.

What my classroom is missing is a seating option that isn't sitting at all.

Some kids learn best when they are given the chance to stand. I would love to give my students who need a little more room and freedom to wiggle the chance to do just that.

Please help my students choose the seating option that works best for them by funding this standing-height table.
