My classes consist of two 5th grade classes. They come to me for both Communication Arts and Social Studies. They are a blend of "typical" kids, "gifted" students, and "special needs" students. They come from a variety of economic backgrounds. Some have many advantages in life, but many come from extreme poverty. For some students school is their safe place, and many only experience reading while at school. I would love to have your donation so that I can create the best learning situation for all my students.
