This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having the right tools for the job is important in any field. For musicians, playing with quality instruments makes a big difference.

This triangle is a top-brand, professional-level instrument - far better than any we have right now.

While it might seem like a simple instrument, playing a triangle correctly requires careful technique. Having a quality triangle makes a huge difference in sound quality - which is helped by great playing technique. This will allow my percussion students to have an instrument equal to many other high schools; allowing them to be more competitive in auditions and performances. In addition to the triangle are pickguards, a much-needed item for our classroom guitars.
