Physically Apart but Emotionally Together!

Help me give my students the tools they will need to succeed this school year. Tools such as headphones to use with my classroom laptops and folders to store their individualized sources, charts and word walls.

My Students

My school is full of diverse young learners that arrive every day with excitement knowing that they will spend time with their friends and teachers. My classroom is an ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) setting that consists of general education students and students with disabilities. My Co-teacher and I try our best to provide a loving and nurturing environment that allows our students to do their personal best, thrive and reach their highest potential!

As we plan of ways to keep our students healthy and safe this upcoming school year, we realize that a team effort would be most beneficial!

We teach our students that working together and supporting each other are significant ways of making it through any challenge life brings.

My Project

As education continues to advance, we are trying to make the transition more pleasant for our students. Our colorful mats would help create safe spots for our students to learn together, while our headphones will be used to further advance their technology skills on our classroom laptops. We also will provide our students with resource folders where they will be able to store all the sources they need to reference back to during reading, writing and math. With the use of the resource folders, our students will be able to build independence by owning their own sources, charts and word walls.

While we practice health and safety protocols by staying physically apart, our nurturing environment will bring us emotionally together.

This is why we would like to unite with those who are willing to help us make our transition back to school pleasant and peaceful!
