My Project

My 6th grade STEM students are curious, creative, and full of energy—they’re eager to explore how technology works and love the challenge of building something from scratch. To nurture their passion for engineering and hands-on learning, we need essential supplies like jumper wires, LEDs, resistors, ultrasonic range finders, breadboards, headphones, and adapter clips. These materials will be used alongside BBC micro:bits to help students design and build interactive projects, from motion-sensing alarms to programmable light displays. With your support, students will gain real-world experience in circuitry and coding as they bring their ideas to life through fun, engaging lessons.

This project will spark the minds of future engineers, inventors, and creators.

The micro:bits and components we’re requesting will provide students with opportunities to apply STEM concepts in meaningful, hands-on ways. Whether they’re building a smart device or programming an LED sequence, each activity fosters critical thinking, perseverance, and teamwork. Your donation will give students the tools and confidence they need to explore technology creatively and solve real-world problems. With your help, we can inspire a new generation of problem-solvers—one circuit at a time.
