My students are absolutely amazing! I teach at a school where three-fourths of the students have a low socio-economic background. They do not let their environment dictate their outcomes, however. My students are resilient and they never let anything stand in the way of their success. I am very fortunate to be able to work with these kids. They challenge me on and almost daily basis to step up my teaching game! My students are 7th grade advanced math students that have the opportunity to take Algebra 1 in 8th grade, which is a high school credit course in the state of Texas. My students require a lot of challenge, which is why I strive to be able to provide for them as much as I can. I am always looking for new and creative ways to engage them in the content all the while boosting their confidence. I want my students' success to be limitless and their minds to grow everyday!
