Photography Club Cameras for Phenomenal Student Photographers

My Students

I am amazed every morning when I open the classroom door for my students at how ready they are to learn. I love seeing my students fired up on Monday morning, hands flying up in the air whenever a question is asked. Third grade is truly a blast with these kiddos!

When I first opened the door and met my students for the first time during Meet and Greet, I was surprised at how independent and social my kiddos seemed to be.

I really had to ask myself whether or not I got all the hard workers from third grade. My students work so hard to be engaged and support one another in learning.

The 19 students in my class, while very diverse, have worked with me to create such a welcoming, accepting learning environment. When a student is absent for a day, the whole class is so quick to inform them of what they missed out on when they return to school. I couldn't have asked for a better third grade class.

My Project

Extracurricular activities are so important to extend student learning and interest in education. A photography club already has a high level of interest from the students I have spoken with. The photography club will include a brief introduction to photography, how to use the cameras and stay safe while photographing, and how to capture the best angles and lighting.

The cameras and memory cards you donate will truthfully capture the hearts of the students in our elementary photography club.

I cannot wait to begin sending out permission forms and getting students engaged in the powerful and high-engagement art of photography. Thank you in advance for your thoughtful donations and support of our learning community.
