My Project

Decodable books play an important role in phonics instruction, building confidence in young readers, and supporting the science of reading and dyslexia interventions.

The Laugh-a-Lot Phonics books are fun, bright, engaging and entertaining, yet highly decodable readers.

Decodable books, written focusing on a particular phonetic design can help students increase their fluency and automaticity of reading words. These books are great examples of decodable books for each phonics level on the continuum from basic CVC words such as ‘cat’ to words with tricky long vowel patterns like ‘sleigh’. The Laugh-a-Lot Phonics readers will be used primarily during reading intervention small groups.
