My Project

I strive to incorporate learning opportunities, activities, and materials that build on my pre-kindergarten students natural curiosity and desire to understand the world.

In January of 2023 our school district added a new pre-kindergarten program offered to district employees children. I had the privlege of joining this program this school year. I love it! This program has more of an emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). These requested materials will aid in increasing student access to STEM materials.

The three various sets of magnetic construction builders will excite and enrich early learning! My students will develop an understanding of scientific concepts, magnetic attraction and repulsion. Opportunities to engineer various three-dimensional structures encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Placement of the LED tea lights encourages exploration and conversations concerning light refraction and light reflection.
