This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We want to continue the learning for our students OUTSIDE the classroom, and continue on over the summer. My students love Pete the Cat. He is funny and interesting, keeping students laughing each day! We look forward to reading Pete the Cat books and seeing what adventures he may have. As we end the year with a camping unit, it would be so amazing to have a Pete the Cat Goes Camping book for students to take home and read with their families.

We would love to have enough copies of the book so each of our wonderful pre-k students can share it with their families and enjoy it outside of our classroom.
