It is important that students gain a love for learning.
Book choice, math games, engaging lessons, headphones to stay focused and comfortable seating are all important when it comes to getting students hooked on learning.
Book Clubs are a way to make reading fun. In small groups, students are able read and interact with each other about books that they have chosen together. By having more books available at different levels, students will get lost in stories of their choice and become excited about reading.
Games are a great way to help students practice math skills. Yahtzee and engaging math activities that I will purchase through TPT will make learning fun for my students so that they can collaboratively practice their essential standards.
Headphones will allow students to listen to podcasts and complete their iReady lessons without distractions.
