Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a small school with a big heart! They are all unique and special, and deserve the best! Please help me complete my classroom. My kids need a place to hang coats, backpacks, and lunchboxes. We can also store our supplies here!

My Project

My students are currently sharing their backpack and coat space which isn't the most sanitary thing during COVID-19. These babies need individual space for their items and supplies. Their backpacks, coats, and lunchboxes end up falling off the hooks onto the floor or left in the entranceway feeling cluttered or unsafe. The cubbies will not only be a safe space for their items, but also a place to store their supplies so that they aren't sharing so many things.

Students will have their own designated cubbies for their personal items and supplies to provide a safe, more sanitary place for storage to cut down on germs.

These individual cubbies will also teach my students to be responsible for their own belongings and organization for future classes.
